African American Leadership Institute Announces Daphne McDole as First CEO
Austin, TX – [1/21/2025] – The African American Leadership Institute (AALI) is proud to announce the appointment of Daphne McDole as its first-ever Chief Executive Officer. This momentous announcement marks a key milestone in AALI’s journey as the organization enters a new chapter of growth and impact.
This milestone would not have been possible without the generous capacity-building support from the Moody Foundation and St. David’s Foundation, whose strong commitment to AALI’s mission will be vital in ensuring the success and sustainability of the organization.
BiNi Coleman, Co-founder of AALI and CEO of 212 Catalysts, expressed support of the foundations, saying, “The partnership and generosity of the Moody Foundation and St. David’s Foundation has been integral in making this leadership transition possible. As the new CEO, Daphne McDole will play a pivotal role in shaping AALI's future, strengthening the team and organizational capacity to propel this game changing initiative into its next phase. Her leadership will be instrumental in advancing AALI's mission to foster leadership, advocacy, and empowerment within the African American community in Central Texas and beyond.
McDole brings to AALI a wealth of experience in development and community service, having held key roles at Huston-Tillotson University, Boys & Girls Clubs of South Central Texas, and Texas Preparatory School. Throughout her career, McDole has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing the well-being and success of the African American community.
